Training Programme

MOHAN Foundation conducted Transplant Coordinators' Training Programmes under the aegis of National Organ & Tissue Transplant Organisation (NOTTO), Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India in Bhopal, Gurugram and Chennai (March – May 2017). All the participants received completion certificates with a unique registration number from NOTTO. The training programmes in Bhopal and Gurugram were organised in collaboration with Bhopal Organ Donation Society (BODS) and Fortis Organ Retrieval & Transplant (FORT) respectively.

Transplant Coordinators' Training Programme – Bhopal

A one-week Transplant Coordinators' Training Programme was held from 27th to 31st March 2017 at Hotel Lake View Ashok, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. A total of 25 candidates from Bhopal were present. This was the 44th training programme conducted by MOHAN Foundation and the 10th in partnership with NOTTO.

Mr. Basant Pratap Singh, IAS, Chief Secretary Madhya Pradesh, Mrs. Gauri Singh, Principal Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Government of Madhya Pradesh, Mr. Mukesh Agrawal, Patrika, Dr. M.C. Songara, Dean – Gandhi Medical College were present at the inauguration. MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, Dr. Sumana Navin, Course Director and Ms. Ann Alex, Programme Associate.

At the valedictory function, Mr. Vishvas Sarang, Minister Cooperatives, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation, Rural Development, Dr. Vimal Bhandari, Director, NOTTO, Mr. Nishant Warwade District Magistrate & Collector, Dr.Amita Chand, President BODS, and the MOHAN Foundation team were present. Mr. Vishvas Sarang, Dr. Vimal Bhandari and Mr. Nishant Warwade congratulated the participants and distributed the certificates.
